Treasures Neighbourhood Nursery
Unlocking the gold in every child …

Treasures Neighbourhood Nursery on Staveley High Street, Chesterfield offers a golden childcare experience with a treasure trove of activities that are fun, exciting and educational.  We use the latest technology, equipment and resources to promote all areas of the foundation stage of learning and development, striving to meet the individual needs of your child.

Treasures Neighbourhood Nursery’s reputation for high standards has been enhanced by an excellent Ofsted report in October 2005.  Treasures Neighbourhood Nursery was awarded ‘Outstanding’ (the highest grade achievable) for the quality of teaching and learning, and ‘Good’ for overall care.   This was a remarkable achievement only nine months after the Nursery had opened. In 2009, a further inspection produced another glowing report which you may view by copying and pasting the link below in to your web address bar.

The main entrance is fitted with a video-intercom system and security keypads on all interior doors. All our rooms have air conditioning to enable us to stay cool even during the hottest days in the Summer months. We also have a ramp and steps to the front door for easy access, and a lift to the first floor for anyone who may find the stairs difficult or have a disability.
Our dedicated staff are highly qualified and experienced in all aspects of childcare and education.  They take part in regular ongoing training and development. Staff regularly partake in schemes and projects in partnerships with other settings and DCC. These benefit staff by increasing their skills and knowledge, improve the environment of the nursery, and upgrade resources, therefore benefiting children's learning and development.
